For those of you planning to visit Saudi Arabia soon, this post is for you! In a previous blog post, we announced that the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Washington D.C. has reopened and is available for processing all visa types. However, there has been a slight change since that was posted.

According to the Khaleej Times, As of February 3, 2021, Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended entry into the Kingdom for all non-citizens, diplomats, health practitioners, and their families from 20 countries including the United States to curb the spread of COVID-19. They have already restricted entry for all tourists. Following that announcement, the Saudi embassies also temporarily suspended visa processing.

Most recently, as of February 10, 2021, the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Washington D.C., has started to accept visas for processing!

While entry to the country is suspended, you are still able to process an expedited visa through American Passport & Visa International (APVI). APVI is able to get you a Saudi visa in as fast as 3 days, depending on the type of visa. Please note: We are unable to process any tourist visas for non-US passports. If you are a US passport holder, we are able to get you a tourist visa in as fast as 2 hours. Tourist visas are valid for one year from the date of issue.
